Bagging Machine Operator / Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Cold Hatton, Telford
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Bagging Machine Operator / Grounds Maintenance Operative
This is a varied role combining machine operation with grounds maintenance duties throughout the year.
Main Duties:
- Operating and monitoring bagging machinery
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment
- Making machine adjustments when required
- Identifying and rectifying packaging defects
- Carrying out routine machinery checks
- Grass cutting, strimming and weeding
- Pitch maintenance, including line marking
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Able to pass a DBS check (funded by the employer)
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Basic level of spoken and written English
- Able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
