Class 1 HGV Driver - Days
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Pay Rate: £15.55 per hour, Time and a half for overtime
Monday to Friday - Day Shifts
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with a leading logistics provider.
The Role:
- Delivering steel products to customers and end-user sites
- Working Monday to Friday on day shifts
- Safe loading, securing, and transporting of goods
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures
Pay & Benefits:
- £15.55 per hour
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday - consistent daytime hours

- 28 days holiday (accrued)

Requirements:
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience preferred
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements
- Previous experience with steel is advantageous
- Must know how to use straps to secure loads
- Up to 2 nights out a week (preferred but not essential)
