The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver (Category C) on behalf of a well-established and growing family-run recycling company based in S4. This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time work with a friendly, well-respected company. This is a temporary to permanent position, working 2-3 days per week, driving a skip lorry.
Duties include:
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips
- Operating a skip lorry safely and efficiently
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring loads are transported securely and safely
- Providing excellent customer service during collections and deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL license) is required
- Valid CPC and Tacho card
- Previous skip driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
