!!IMMEDIATE START FROM JANUARY 2ND!! The Best Connection Sheffield are recruiting for a CE Nights driver to join one of the leading logistics providers in Sheffield on a temp - perm position. If you are an experienced double deck driver, have a good knowledge of trunking and are confident reversing, great communication is key in this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable driver to secure ongoing work with a well-established company.

The role is 50hrs/per week (breaks excluded), start times beginning from 18:00 but can vary on holidays, road works and delivery volume.

  • Job Vacancy: Class 1 Night Driver (Double Deck Vehicle) - £17.00/hr
  • Location: S25 (Sheffield/Rotherham)
  • Working week: Monday-Saturday Nights
  • Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour - overtime available

Job Duties:

  • Night-time trunking
  • Operating a Class 1 (C+E) Double Decker vehicle
  • Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported
  • Vehicle checks
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines
  • Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to all transport legislation

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience with double deck vehicles preferred
  • Comfortable with night shifts
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
