HGV Class 1 (LGV Cat C+E) and HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) Drivers required for ongoing work, which could lead to a full-time position. IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE. This is for our clients based in Salisbury, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. It is imperative you have previous experience on your digi tacho in the last year.
Starting pay rate: £17 per hour. Overtime pay rate starting from £25.50. Minimum 8 hours pay per shift! Overtime available on certain shifts.
Start time: Various. Finish time: No finish time as start times differ, approx. 8 hours per shift.
Duties:
- Deliveries around the UK.
- Pallets, cages, trunking, tramping, hub runs and multi-drop positions available.
- You will be required to complete your 15 minute vehicle checks, use an electronic system to log your route, drive the Class 1 vehicle up to a hub (to be loaded or unloaded).
These are temporary Class 1 and 2 driving opportunities that could result in ongoing work. You will be required to cover ad hoc shifts that could be any day between Monday to Sunday. This position will be working any days required from the company.
What you need:
- Full Cat CE/Cat C Driving Licence
- Valid Digi Tacho
- Valid CPC
- Previous class 1 experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD/IN/DR)
- Willing and positive attitude
