The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sevenoaks for a Goods In/Out Assistant to join their busy warehouse team.
This is a varied role combining Goods In and Goods Out responsibilities, with regular use of a
Bendi forklift to support the movement and storage of stock. You will play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Please note
This role is based in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Due to the location and working hours, applicants should be able to reliably commute to the site each day.
This position is not suitable for long-distance commuting.
Duties include
- Receiving and checking inbound deliveries against paperwork.
- Booking stock into the warehouse and updating inventory records.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a Bendi (Pivot Steer) forklift.
- Moving stock safely to the correct warehouse locations.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience operating a Bendi (Pivot Steer) forklift is essential.
- A valid Bendi forklift certificate is preferred.
- Previous experience within a Goods In, Goods Out or warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
