Warehouse Operative
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in the Selby area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company in a busy and varied warehouse role, working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Pay & Hours
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 5:00pm
- This is initially a temporary position
- Immediate start
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Receiving and booking in goods
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse
- Preparing products ready for production
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Following all health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Be reliable, hardworking and flexible
- Have a good eye for detail
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Have their own transport due to the rural location and limited public transport links
