We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as an Airport Security Officer at Belfast International Airport! Join us where you will be able to explore a world full of opportunities. You will be meeting people from all over the world, being part of the most vital part of these passengers' journeys, by making sure they get to their destination safely!
Hours of Work: 5 on 3 off (2 lates, 1 afternoon, 2 early)
- Early Shifts: 10 hours starting between 02:30 - 03:30 and finishing between 13:30 - 14:30
- Afternoon Shifts: 10 hours starting at 07:00 and finishing at 16:30
- Late Shifts: 10 hours starting between 12:30 - 13:30 and finishing between 22:30 - 23:30
Pay: Starting rate Β£12.21 rising to Β£12.60 when X-Ray Trained
Duration: Ongoing!
Location: Belfast International Airport

Requirements of an Airport Security Officer:
- Able to pass a CRC, Access NI and CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) as part of the airside pass application
- Have a full 5-year vetting checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
- Have an in-date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
- Must have been living in Northern Ireland/UK for the last 3 years continuously
- The minimum age requirement to conduct this role is 18 years, and you must be a UK resident with the valid right to work in the UK
- This role requires full colour vision and hearing to meet our client's required standard
- Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- A friendly and engaging personality
Working as an Airport Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- People search, x-ray screening, and bag searching - use of equipment and manual search techniques, to ensure no prohibited articles are taken into the airport.
- Access Control - controlling access to the aerodrome, checking identification or travel documents for all passengers, staff and airport users requiring access.
- Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the airport offering advice where necessary & high levels of customer service.
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Carrying out patrols of the airside / landside areas to ensure that these locations are secure.
- Attending to and investigating reports of incidents.
- Aircraft guarding and escorting duties within site.
