About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Saw Operative to join a busy manufacturing team on the night shift. The role includes operating industrial saws and safely using an overhead crane to move materials throughout the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating saws to cut materials to accurate measurements
- Safely operating an overhead crane to lift and move heavy materials
- Following production orders and work schedules
- Carrying out routine safety checks and basic maintenance
- Working efficiently to hit nightly production targets
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with strict health & safety guidelines
About You:
- Previous experience as a Saw Operative or within a similar production environment
- Overhead crane experience (licence preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident reading measurements and following instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working nights
