Location: Scunthorpe (initially) permanently moving to Louth in September 2026

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused QHSE Coordinator to join our team in a very busy warehouse and manufacturing environment producing cat litter products. This role will initially be based in Scunthorpe, with permanent relocation to Louth in September 2026. Applicants must be able to work from both sites during the transition period.

You will support and develop our Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental systems, ensuring compliance, maintaining high operational standards, and contributing to continuous improvement across manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update QHSE policies, procedures, and controlled documents.
  • Support the coordination of site preparation for customer and regulatory audits, including BRC, ISO, HACCP, and customer visits.
  • Support internal/external audits and inspections.
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Promote strong safety, quality, and environmental standards across both sites.
  • Provide QHSE guidance, support, and basic training to staff.
  • Monitor KPIs and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure laboratory and site quality activities are carried out in compliance with H&S and COSHH regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and internal company processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in a QHSE, H&S, or compliance-focused role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (desirable).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willing and able to work from both Scunthorpe and Louth.
  • Positive, proactive, and solution-driven approach.

Desirable

  • NEBOSH certificate or relevant QHSE qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with BRC, HACCP, and customer auditing requirements.
