Shift Rotation:
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 08:00 - 16:00
- 10:00 - 18:00
The Role
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a PPT Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with PPT experience looking for ongoing work within a supportive team environment.
The role involves working within a coldstore environment, ensuring goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high warehouse standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently.
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Palletising, wrapping, and preparing products for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensuring products are stored correctly within the coldstore.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous PPT experience is preferred.
- PPT licence or in-house PPT.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a coldstore environment throughout the shift.
- Flexible and willing to work across the rotating shift pattern.
