We are excited to offer permanent opportunities from day one for skilled Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Welders/Fabricators to join a leading steel production site in Scunthorpe. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, highly automated industrial environment, playing a key role in maintaining critical equipment within the steel industry.
What You'll Be Doing:- Carrying out electrical and/or mechanical maintenance to support plant reliability
- Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns efficiently
- Completing welding and fabrication work where required
- Working to strict health & safety and industry regulations
- Identifying hazards and implementing safe systems of work
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Welding/Fabrication (essential)
- Apprenticeship trained (preferred)
- Experience in maintenance and fault finding within industrial or heavy engineering environments
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Flexible, reliable, and eager to develop
- Strong communication and timekeeping skills
Steel industry experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
Shift Opportunity:This role is primarily days-based, with the opportunity to move onto a continental shift pattern: 2 Days | 2 Nights | 4 Off (12-hour shifts). Includes shift allowance.
