Class 2 Refuse Driver – Scunthorpe
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team, working with Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles carrying out bin collections across the Lincolnshire area, based out of Scunthorpe.
Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle for refuse collection routes
- Operating Roll-on Roll-off equipment
- Completing bin collections, as well as skip deliveries and collections
- Working as part of a team, supported by a driver’s mate assisting with loading and unloading on bin rounds
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Shift Pattern
- Day shifts
- Start times between 04:00am – 06:00am
- Includes working every other Saturday
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay & Benefits
- £14.35 per hour
- Overtime after 45 hours: £21.52 per hour
