The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in Rotherham for a Transport & Planning Administrator to join their busy Transport and Planning team. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis and will become permanent after a successful 12-week probation period.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate works orders for machine shop and assembly
- Produce daily pick lists for the pick/pack department
- Book transport for daily dispatches using courier online portals
- Progress production to prevent delays to orders
- Progress factored items to avoid delays
- Support transport and planning activities as required
- Adhere to all HSE guidelines
- Follow CTD Communication Strategy and meet KPI expectations
Skills & Experience
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems (desirable)
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
Hours of Work
- Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00
- Friday: 08:30-16:00
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily (39 paid hours per week)
