We are currently recruiting for an experienced Printer Operator to join a leading manufacturing business in Preston.

The Role

You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of printing equipment, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating printing machinery.
  • Monitoring production runs and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Carrying out machine adjustments and basic fault‑finding.
  • Completing production paperwork and recording quality checks.
  • Ensuring output targets are achieved while maintaining accuracy.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Working closely with colleagues to support smooth production operations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a printing environment.
  • Experience setting and operating production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Working Hours

Week 1

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2

  • Monday to Thursday: 1:45pm - 10:15pm
  • Friday: 1:45pm - 7:15pm
