The Best Connection are currently working with our client to recruit removal porters to work throughout the summer peak. We are looking for a reliable and experienced removal porter to add to our client's established team during their busy period.
Responsibilities of the removals porter will include but not be limited to:
- Helping to load the vehicle at the beginning of each shift
- Calling the clients' customers when on route to update them on arrival times
- Handling clients' goods with care
- Unloading items to the customers' room of choice
Requirements of the Removals Porter:
- Ability to lift weights of up to 20KG independently and heavier as part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a wider team environment
Hours of work: Shifts will typically be 07:00-15:00 but flexibility is required depending on the nature of the client requests.
Rates of pay: £12.71 per hour
