Food Production Opportunities - Day & Afternoon Shifts
Location: Redruth, Cornwall
Pay: From £12.71 to £14.76 per hour (depending on role and experience)
We are currently recruiting for a range of exciting opportunities within a busy food production facility in Redruth. Whether you're looking to start a career in production or take the next step into a leadership or specialist role, we have positions available across several departments.
Current Vacancies:
- Food Production Operatives - from £12.71 per hour
- Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance) - from £13.11 per hour
- Key Operative Machine - from £13.10 per hour
- Line Leaders - from £13.86 per hour
Rates increase following a qualifying period.
Shift Patterns:
- AM and PM shifts available
- Full-time hours
- Ongoing opportunities with potential permanent contracts
Duties May Include:
- Weighing, grading and preparing products
- Packing, labelling and sealing finished goods
- Quality control and product inspection
- Palletising and dispatch duties
- Machine operation and production support
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Forklift operation (licensed roles only)
- Completing compliance and production records
- Supporting and leading small teams within production departments
- Maintaining high hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards
What We're Looking For:
- Reliable and hardworking individuals
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Previous food production experience beneficial but not essential
- Leadership experience preferred for Line Leader and Key Operative positions
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required for Forklift Driver roles
