The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting for a Night Warehouse Administrator on behalf of our well-established client in Horley in the Courier Industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy warehouse operation, supporting the smooth running of goods in, dispatch, and warehouse performance activities.
Location: Horley
Industry: Courier
Hours: Sunday Night to Thursday Night, 10pm to 6am
Pay: £14 an hour
Key Responsibilities of the Night Warehouse Administrator:
- Release and dispatch warehouse work through the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Ensure warehouse operatives are assigned work and monitor workflow priorities
- Support goods-in and dispatch activities, including booking deliveries and processing customer orders
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, pallets, kegs, and returns
- Monitor colleague activity through operational reporting systems including Power BI and Smart Analytics
- Ensure staff are logged into the correct tasks and using scanning equipment correctly
- Update KPI boards and operational performance information
- Regularly walk the warehouse floor to monitor activity and resolve operational issues
- Answer incoming calls from drivers and visitors arriving on site
- Support communication between warehouse, transport, and management teams
- Process and respond to operational emails relating to stock movements and dispatches
Requirements of the Night Warehouse Administrator:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
Desirable Skills:
- Previous warehouse administration or logistics experience
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport
