The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Saw Operator on behalf of our client, a well-established, family-owned business with a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and innovation within the metals and plastics industry.
Our client specialises in the trade of aluminium, copper, brass, gunmetal, bronze, special alloys and plastic materials, supplying customers across a wide range of sectors.
Duties will include:
- Operating band saws and plate saws safely and efficiently
- Cutting materials to specification
- Reading and interpreting job instructions
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
- Loading and unloading materials
- General warehouse and production duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating band saws and/or plate saws
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- FLT Counterbalance licence/experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate:
- £15.00 per hour
