Join a leading manufacturing specialist in Redditch as a Plastic Extrusion Operator and become part of a dedicated, skilled team. Previous experience in plastic extrusion is essential for this role, but our client would also consider candidates with Profile or Blown Film experience. Experience of Injection Moulding machine setting and operating would also be considered. All new starters will receive an initial induction and then undergo further on the job training which will be on an ongoing basis due to the wide range of functions required.
Duties:
- Controlling and adjusting machines settings to ensure product quality and production rates are achieved
- Observation of strict quality control measurements, challenging non-conformance's, and participation as required in the introduction of counter measures to prevent further quality issues
- Recording of hourly gauge thickness checks
- Involvement in basic Preventative Maintenance to help eliminate unnecessary down time
- Use of basic hand and machine tools
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am to 6pm (12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
