The Best Connection Redditch are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join a friendly mechanical engineering company based in Redditch. This is a temporary to permanent role with competitive pay depending on experience, plus overtime available.
The following are needed and especially Fanuc controls experience:
- Turning C.N.C. & Standard Milling C.N.C. & Standard VMC Work Inc. 4th Axis Slotting
- Tooth Rounding & Honing Gearbox Refurbishments
- Grinding Production Grinding Universal & Surface
- Gear Grinding
- Gear Testing Lead, Involute & Roll CMM Inspection
What you'll be doing:
- Programming, setting, and running CNC machines (horizontal & vertical)
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Creating and editing programs using Esprit CAD/CAM (or similar)
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance
- Looking for ways to improve cycle times and reduce costs
- Working with the team to improve processes
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Making high-quality parts to tight measurements
- Checking parts meet customer standards
What we're looking for:
- Experience in CNC milling (essential)
- Experience using Fanuc controls
- Experience with machines like Doosan, Haas, or Matsuura
- Ability to program, set, and operate machines
- Good attention to detail
- Team player with a good work ethic
- Flexible and willing to help meet deadlines
Job details:
