The Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Retail Assistant to join their team in Redcar. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, offering an immediate start and regular hours. Your duties will include:
- Serving customers and providing good customer service
- Operating the till
- Restocking shelves and maintaining displays
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting with general retail duties
- Selling age-restricted products including alcohol and smoke/vape products
- Following company procedures and age-verification requirements
Requirements
- Must be aged 18 or over due to the sale of alcohol and smoke/vape products
- Previous retail or customer service experience would be beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working 10-12 hour shifts
- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Available for an immediate start
Working Hours
Monday to Friday. Start time is approximately 7:00am, although earlier starts may occasionally be required. Shifts will generally be 10-12 hours per day.
