Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Pay & Working Hours

  • Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7am to 3.30pm
  • Breaks: 30 minute unpaid lunch break

This role offers consistent weekday hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance with no weekend work required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside the Supervisor to ensure the operation runs smoothly
  • Assisting the yard team with material break downs
  • Forklift maintenance
  • Ensuring the yard is kept clean and tidy
  • Manage equipment being weighed when loading/unloading vehicles
  • Ensuring materials are prepped and ready for drivers to load the vehicles
  • Keeping paperwork up to date, including everything documented and passed to the office staff
