The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing company based in the heart of Birmingham for a Quality Improvement Inspector / Technician to join their team on a permanent basis . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking to develop their career within a busy manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of quality and process controls within the manufacturing environment. Manage supplier quality defect rejection reporting , non-conformances and data collection. Work with suppliers on the inspection and validation of parts . Identify and deliver quality improvement projects to improve operational performance. Collect and monitor quality data to support improvement activities and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System. Drive a structured QCD KPI programme . Carry out product audits and provide technical customer service support. Champion Lean Manufacturing and 5S throughout the business. Requirements Previous experience in a quality, inspection, process engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality control and manufacturing processes. Good understanding of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles. Experience with 5S , quality KPIs and process controls. The ability to work confidently in a hands‑on, shop-floor manufacturing environment. Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Permanent position #J-18808-Ljbffr
