Job Role
As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Wholesale Qualified Person (WQP), and Deputy Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (Deputy QPPV) duties. The Quality Control Supervisor will ensure all products, documentation, and processes comply with regulatory requirements and customer expectations within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Managing document control, including issuing, tracking, and archiving Batch Production Records (BPRs)
- Working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved
- Monitoring quality performance, analysing data, and producing reports
- Conducting internal and third-party quality audits
- Reviewing and maintaining Health & Safety procedures, including Fire Safety compliance
- Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Managing stock control procedures, including quarantine, batch rotation, labelling, release, shrink wrapping, storage, and stock movement
- Handling customer complaints and quality queries via telephone, email, and written correspondence
- Supporting Pharmacovigilance activities as Deputy QPPV
- Using Microsoft Excel and other software to maintain accurate quality records
- Assisting with any additional duties to support the smooth running of the business
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and documentation
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Internal auditing experience
- Pharmacovigilance or Deputy QPPV experience
Pay & Working Hours
£14.36 - £16.92 per hour (depending on experience)

Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
