The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a candidate to join their quality assurance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team with great future career prospects. The hours of work are 07:00 - 15:30. Pay for this role is Β£12.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Ensure all products meet customer and legal specifications
- Monitor hygiene, CCPs, trace-ability, temperature records, and GMP standards
- Investigate and report any non-conformance
- Support production teams with quality and food safety guidance
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS and retailer standards
Key Requirements / skills:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing (ideally in a QA/QC role)
- Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality procedures
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. Excel, Word, email)
This is an immediate start position with opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
