The Best Connection is working with our client who are a leading UK bakery chain. Due to increased workload they now have a requirement for Production Operatives to work at their site in Seaham.
Duties will include:
- Packing frozen goods in the production area
- Feeding products onto the production line
- Labelling and packaging
- Working in a chilled area
A level 2 food hygiene certificate is desirable however we will pay for your qualification
Hours of work:
Shift 1: Monday – Friday 6.30am – 2.30pm
Shift 2:
Working on a rotating 3 shift pattern Monday Friday:
- Early shift:06.15 14.30
- Late shift:14.15 22.30
- Night shift:22.15 – 06.30
Rates of pay:
- Hours worked between 06.00 – 18.00:Β£12.21 per hour
- Hours worked between 18.00 – 06.00:Β£13.21 per hour
- Overtime after 39 hours 06.00 – 18.00: Β£14.21 per hour
- Overtime after 39 hours 18.00 – 06.00: Β£15.21 per hour
The roles are being offered on an ongoing temporary basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a food production area and ideally have a level 2 food hygiene certificate but training can be provided.
