Job Description:
The Best Connection are currently recruiting seasonal day/night production staff for a market leading client in their field, in rural West Sussex.
This is a very exciting position, commencing from end of September, for a period of 4 weeks!
Overall Purpose:
- To assist in general work operations in the warehouse and forecourt including cleaning and stacking away of picking crates, cleaning pallets and general tidying of the work area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Retrieve cleaned picking crates as they emerge from the crate washer and stack them in the designated area, ready for re-use
- Assist weighbridge operator with weighing of goods and pallets
- Work on the press-loading production line to remove leaves and other material from picking crates.
- Wash pallets using hose or pallet washer once they are emptied during press loading.
- Hose down and clean grape receival area as required
Other Tasks:
- Report all incidents or broken equipment immediately to Shift manager
- Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety rules.
General Tasks:
- To maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at all times
- To only operate any machinery or equipment after training and approval by the Shift Manager.
