About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a variety of plant machinery. You will be required to work both on-site at our depot and at client locations, ensuring equipment is kept in safe and reliable working order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair plant machinery, including telehandlers, excavators, dumpers, and rollers.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site mechanical support as required.
- Work at the company depot between breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plant fitter or similar mechanical role.
- Experience with telehandlers, excavators, dumpers, and rollers is desirable but not essential.
- Must have own tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
