We are recruiting a Machine Operator for a company based in Yaxley, Peterborough. This role offers excellent working hours and the opportunity to work with a supportive team. You will be responsible for operating machinery to bend, form and shape various metals including stainless steel and aluminium, including beam saw.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as beam saw
- Work with different metals to produce precise components
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Use measuring tools to ensure high accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator (essential)
- Ability to read technical/engineering drawings
- Comfortable working with metal, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Good attention to detail
Pay & Working Hours:
- Starting from £12.21 per hour (+ bonus based on performance £13 - £15)
- Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm
