We are hiring on behalf of a leading logistics client looking for an ADR Driver.

Position: HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) ADR Driver - Gas Tankers

Location: Peterborough

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday | 06:00 Start Times

Pay Rates & Benefits

  • Days Basic Rate: £18.00 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Delivery & Collection: Transport, deliver, and collect bulk gas shipments safely and efficiently in Class 2 tankers across the UK network.
  • Tanker Operations: Discharge and load bulk liquefied gas safely using specialised on-board pumping equipment and hoses, complying strictly with ADR safety regulations.
  • Compliance & Paperwork: Adhere strictly to driver hours, tachograph regulations, and mandatory dangerous goods documentation (Dangerous Goods Notes).
  • Safety First Mindset: Maintain a zero-compromise approach to risk, strictly following site safety protocols during gas transfers and handling.

What We Are Looking For

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid ADR Certificate (Must include Class 2 Gases in Tanks).
  • Proven bulk tanker driving experience, ideally involving pressurised gases or liquids.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Punctual drivers comfortable with early morning starts (06:00).
