Join a Leading Airport Operations Team at Glasgow Airport! The Best Connection is currently recruiting reliable, hardworking Catering Operatives to join a busy airport catering operation based at Glasgow Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career within the aviation industry, supporting the preparation and distribution of catering supplies for aircraft departing one of Scotland's busiest airports.
No previous airport experience or SIA Licence is required - full training will be provided once all pre-employment checks have been successfully completed.
Shift Details- Night Shift
- 4 on, 4 off rotation
- 19:00 - 07:00
- Competitive hourly pay
- 30-minute paid break every shift
- Full airport and role-specific training provided

As a Catering Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring aircraft are supplied with catering products safely, securely, and on time. Your duties may include:
- Preparing and handling airline catering equipment and supplies
- Loading and unloading catering items
- Packing, checking and organising stock
- Working within strict food hygiene, security and safety procedures
- Manual handling and working in a fast-paced operational environment
- Supporting the wider airport catering team to meet flight schedules
This is a physically active role, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet throughout your shift.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Able to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Flexible to work the 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
- Able to successfully pass all airport security vetting requirements
Due to the nature of working within a regulated airport environment, all successful applicants must be able to:
- Pass a Criminal Record Check (paid for by us)
- Provide a full 5-year employment, education or activity history
- Provide a full 5-year address history
- Hold valid photographic ID (Passport, Driving Licence or National ID Card)
- Successfully complete Aviation Security Training (paid for by us)
