The Opportunity
This is an exciting, field-based role focused on driving new business growth across the Midlands and the North of the UK, with the added opportunity to expand into international markets. If you thrive on winning new business, building relationships, and delivering measurable growth, this role offers the perfect platform to make a real impact.

Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new customers across sectors including: Industrial Manufacturing, Defence, Insulation, Packaging
- Proactively generate leads through: Cold outreach and prospecting, Networking and industry events, Site visits and relationship building
- Build and manage a strong, self-generated sales pipeline
- Conduct face-to-face client meetings and present tailored solutions
- Convert opportunities into long-term, profitable partnerships
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan
- Drive international growth via: Export sales, Distributors and OEM partnerships
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing strategies
- Negotiate contracts while protecting margins
- Work collaboratively with operations, production, and technical teams
- Track and report on sales performance and pipeline activity
Candidate Requirements
- Proven success in business development within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Strong track record of winning new business and increasing revenue
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen
- Experience in technical or solution-based sales (desirable)
- Exposure to foam, plastics, materials, or conversion industries (advantageous)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility for UK and international travel
