Duties of a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker:
As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Using handheld scanners to locate and process stock
- Packing orders ready for dispatch
- Quality checking products prior to shipment
- Working to productivity and accuracy targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following company processes and health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For from Warehouse Operative / Order Picker:
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good attention to detail
- A positive and reliable attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good numerical and communication skills
- The ability to lift, move and handle products safely
- A willingness to learn and follow procedures
