The Best Connection are working with our Stockton on Tees based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) NIGHT SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
There are on going as well as ad hoc shifts available.
The role:
- Starting at the Stockton hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers
- Start times are approximately 18:00
- There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
- The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
- All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
- Achieving delivery slots
- Using website-based delivery scheduling
- Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
The candidate:
- C+E (Class One) Licence
- In date CPC and DIGI Card
- Experience using extendable "skelly" trailers
- Experience using "Mirror Cam" Trucks
Rewards:
- £15.75 per hour (PAYE) Firsrt 8 hours Monday to Friday
- £23.17 per hour After 8 hours / all Saturday
- £30.90 per hour Sunday / Bank Holiday
