HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Day Drivers - Cramlington - 14.75 per hour
The Best Connection is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for day shift work with a well-established client based in Cramlington, operating within the palletised distribution sector.
This is a great opportunity for both experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers and newly qualified drivers looking to gain valuable Class 1 driving experience in a professional and supportive environment.
The Role
- Start time: 08:00 AM
- Monday to Friday only - no weekend work
- Trunking work - limited manual handling involved
- Collection and delivery of palletised goods
- Providing cover for sickness and holiday leave, with regular ongoing work available
The Candidate
- Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving licence
- Newly qualified drivers welcome
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- Reliable, safety-conscious and professional
- Previous Class 1 driving experience advantageous but not essential
Pay & Hours
- 14.75 per hour (PAYE)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM starts
- Weekly pay with holiday pay accrued
