The Best Connection Employment Group Limited are currently recruiting for chill / freeze night shift pickers for one of our long standing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking chill / freeze night picker looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
This is the job:
- Picking on the grid in a chilled environment (2-5 degrees) using an EPT (Electric pump truck) & headset to pick correct orders into designated cages
- Picking in a freeze environment (up to -27 degrees) using MHE to pick correct orders and pallets to be taken to correct location for dispatch
- Operating MHE safely and competently
- Other areas of work could include loading, milk and bread sections
Pay & Hours:
- £13.32 while training. Post training rates - Chill £15.45 & Freeze £16.67
- Overtime after 40 hours x1.5 & Bank Holiday x1.5
- 19:00-06:00 with a 1 hour break deducted (10 hours paid per full shift)
- Any 4 from 7 nights on a 3 week rolling rota.
