Overview
The Best Connection are seeking Night Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Manor Royal, Crawley who operate within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
- Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently to designated locations
- Loading and unloading vehicles in line with safe manual handling practices
- Operating scanning equipment to track and process parcels
- Ensuring parcels are handled with care to prevent damage
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Meeting productivity and quality targets throughout the shift
- Following all health & safety procedures and company policies
- Supporting other warehouse tasks as required to meet operational demand
Requirements (To Be Successful in the Role)
- Ability to work night shifts reliably and consistently
- Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and scanning
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to attendance
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices in a warehouse setting
- Previous warehouse or parcel-sorting experience desirable but not essential
Pay rate will be £12.68 per hour to start off with and increases to £13.38 per hour after 12 weeks of work. Shifts run Sunday to Friday on the night team with the occasional Saturday available. You will ideally be able to work 5 nights per week at a minimum, and there will be options for 6 when needed.
