Are you an experienced B1 FLT driver looking for a new opportunity with long-term potential? Do you want to play a key role in material handling operations onsite as my client's FLT Driver? If so, this is a great opportunity.
Job Overview:
- Operate B2 Counterbalance FLT trucks with rotators (B1 holders welcome - my client will upgrade your licence!)
- Collect, grade, and load scrap materials from multiple points across our site
- Transport scrap between plants using public roads (full UK driving licence required)
Shift Pattern (40 hours/week):
- 2 weeks: Days - 7am to 3pm
- 1 week: Nights - 11pm to 7am
- 1 week: Backshift - 3pm to 11pm
- Then cycle repeats
Pay & Benefits:
- £13.77/hour for all standard hours
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- 2-3 weeks comprehensive training provided before working independently
- Overtime and weekend rates to be discussed when overtime can be offered.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT licence (B1 or B2 - we'll train and convert if needed)
- Full UK driving licence (essential for road travel between sites)
