- We are currently recruiting for a
Security Officer to join a specialist aviation catering operation based in Newcastle.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining the security and integrity of food and catering products destined for commercial aircraft, ensuring compliance with
CAA aviation security regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor food preparation and catering production areas.
- Ensure aviation catering security procedures are followed at all times.
- Apply and record security seals on airline catering units and vehicles.
- Conduct security checks in accordance with CAA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Report any security breaches, discrepancies, or concerns immediately.
- Work closely with catering and operational teams to ensure compliance standards are met.
Requirements
- Previous security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and referencing checks.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts.
