Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver - starting ASAP!
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (flexibility available)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + bonus attendance
Our client is a processor of waste electrical and electronic equipment and is currently looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their busy yard team on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with an immediate start.
Further Information About The Role:
This is a FLT Counterbalance role and you will spend the majority of your day operating a counterbalance forklift, moving, lifting and shifting materials safely around the yard. Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a busy yard environment is essential. As this is a FLT Counterbalance role you must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and be confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials around the yard.
- Supporting daily yard operations.
- Working safely in line with site procedures.
- General yard duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
- Previous experience lifting and shifting materials using a counterbalance forklift.
- Good understanding of yard operations.
- Reliable with a strong attendance record.
- Able to start ASAP.
Pay & Benefits:
£12.71 per hour - weekly pay. Additional uplift of £1.20 per hour on all 45 hours worked. Ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.
