The Best Connection Mansfield are currently recruiting a Mechanical Technician to join a well-established and fast-growing company based in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy construction division, maintaining high-quality equipment in a hands-on and dynamic environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out equipment repairs and pre-hire inspections
- Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment
- Complete electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
- Service and inspect all equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and performance
Working Hours & Pay Rate:
Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week (hours may vary)
Salary: £30,000
Requirements:
- Previous knowledge or experience within a mechanical, plant hire, or equipment-based role
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
