We are currently looking for a Second Hand Shop Assistant to join our team at a busy tip site shop, helping to give unwanted items a second life rather than going to waste.
Working Hours
- Monday - Saturday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Sunday: 09:00 - 16:00
- Working on a 6 days on, 3 days off rota
The Role
As a Second Hand Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing great customer service and helping to keep the shop running smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Using a card machine to process customer payments
- Assisting customers with queries and purchases
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented
- Sorting and displaying items for sale
- Helping to ensure items are ready for resale
- Working as part of a team to keep the shop running efficiently
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have good customer service skills
- Be friendly, approachable and helpful
- Be confident using a card machine
- Have a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Be comfortable working in a busy environment
- Be reliable and able to work the 6 on, 3 off rota
