Our client in Heysham is currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join their busy operation. This role offers ongoing work with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidates.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a Class 2 rigid tipper truck for collecting and delivering materials, such as aggregates, muck away, and asphalt.
- Drive in diverse environments, from public roads to busy construction sites, demonstrating professional driving skills.
- Plan routes and check for road works, traffic, and safety restrictions to ensure smooth and efficient journeys.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, either alone or with a team.
- Ensure the vehicle carries a safe amount of material and that it is unloaded without causing harm to people or the surroundings.
- Operate the tipper body and hydraulic systems according to manufacturer recommendations, understanding the procedures and risks involved.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Previous tipper driving experience preferred
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and site safety
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card - preferable

- Min 8 hours
- 07:30 start time
- Monday to Friday
