Account Coordinator
Location: Measham
Pay Rate: £13.87 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Hours per Week: 37.5 hours
Contract: Permanent position following a successful temporary period.
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Coordinator to join our client, a well-established global logistics company based in Measham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics environment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
The Role
As an Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting key accounts, ensuring customer requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputting bookings from customers
- Liaising with customers and business partners
- Supporting key account management
- Handling customer queries and complaints
- Working with internal departments to resolve customer issues
- Ensuring customer requirements are met
- Supporting client retention
- Producing and monitoring KPIs where required
- Facilitating customer service activities
- Maintaining accurate records and information
- Building positive working relationships with customers and internal teams
Requirements
- Previous Customer Service experience is essential
- Knowledge or experience within the transport/logistics industry would be advantageous
- Strong customer-focused approach
- Ability to remain positive and professional under pressure
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and courteous telephone manner
- Reliable and committed approach to work
