Our client, a power management company, is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their growing team in Luton. This is a long-term position for experienced candidates with a background in testing and measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing test solutions for manufacturing environments. Supportive training will be provided for this position, and there are excellent opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience within the industry.
Location: Luton
Job Role:
- Develop and maintain test systems using National Instruments hardware and LabVIEW software in a production environment.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, procedures and reports in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support to production staff in resolving testing issues and ensuring the smooth operation of test equipment.
- Reverse engineering existing equipment in order to improve repeatability and reliability.
- Experience of extracting, exporting and analysing test data, specifically with SQL and MySQL.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:10
Pay rate: Β£25.18 per hour for all hours worked
