The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader on behalf of a well-established client based in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and capable individual to take on a key leadership role within a busy production environment.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive leader who can support a team of production operatives, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure efficient workflow throughout the night shift. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and support a team of production operatives to meet daily targets
- Oversee the full end-to-end manufacturing process for FSDUs, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Monitor workflow, adjust schedules, and allocate resources to meet customer deadlines
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments
- Maintain accurate documentation, including production records, performance data, and inventory logs
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
- Experience with FSDUs or similar POS/POP display solutions is highly advantageous
- Strong leadership ability with proven experience motivating and developing a team
- Good understanding of KPIs, quality checks, and production targets
- Computer-literate with strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure
- Night shift: 10pm - 6am
- Pay: £15-£18 per hour (depending on experience)
- Additional: Opportunity to earn an annual bonus of up to £4,000
