The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal sprayer on behalf of our client,based in Malmesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and friendly production team within a family-run business specialising in high-quality sheet metal fabrication.
Our client is based in the Swindon area and is easily accessible by public transport.
Hours and Pay
- Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- Salary £13.50 ph
- Overtime available when required
Key Responsibilities
- Powder coating experience
- Wet spraying experience
- Surface preparation and finishing
- Paint mixing and colour matching
- Operation of spray guns and coating equipment
- Knowledge of coating thickness and finish quality standards
- Ability to identify and correct imperfections and defects
- Understanding of spray booth and curing processes
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to read and follow job specifications
Health and safety awareness:
- Safe handling of paints, powders, and chemicals
- Time management and ability to meet production targets
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintenance and cleaning of spraying equipment and work areas.
