Machine Operator – Kingsbury (Tamworth Area)
Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Machine Operator for a well-established, family-run engineering company based in Kingsbury, Tamworth. This role offers long-term stability, excellent working hours, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team.
You will be responsible for operating machinery to bend, form and shape various metals including stainless steel and aluminium.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines such as press brakes, rollers, and tube benders
- Work with metal materials to produce precise components
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Use measuring tools to ensure high accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator (essential)
- Ability to read technical/engineering drawings
- Comfortable working with metal, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Good attention to detail
Pay & Working Hours
- Starting from £13.50 per hour (higher rates for experienced candidates)
- Mon-Thu: 07:00-16:00
- Fri: 07:00-12:00
