The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join a busy and growing engineering business. You will be responsible for producing both standard and bespoke metal components to a high-quality standard while meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery in a production environment
- Maintaining high quality standards for standard and bespoke products
- Carrying out regular quality checks using measuring equipment
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Proactively communicating with Supervisors, Managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S matters
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in line with 5S activities
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE
Requirements
- Proven CNC experience in a production environment
- Experience setting and operating CNC machinery (press brake experience essential)
- Good understanding of measuring equipment and quality checks
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail
