Days: 7:00am - 4:30pm Nights

The Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join a busy and growing engineering business. You will be responsible for producing both standard and bespoke metal components to a high-quality standard while meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery in a production environment
  • Maintaining high quality standards for standard and bespoke products
  • Carrying out regular quality checks using measuring equipment
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Proactively communicating with Supervisors, Managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S matters
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in line with 5S activities
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE

Requirements

  • Proven CNC experience in a production environment
  • Experience setting and operating CNC machinery (press brake experience essential)
  • Good understanding of measuring equipment and quality checks
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail
